Felt Up. Part 2.

Somehow, making flowers out of felt turned into this:

I'm chubby- if I'm not eating cookies, somewhere in my head I'm thinking about them.

It's a needle book!  (One word, two?  I'm not sure.)  Inside there is a total of four white pages for storage.  One each, in the front and the back.  The the two in the center were sewn together with a blanket stitch to create a little pocket.  You can just see the edge of the stitches in the center.

Since I don't need any reminders about cookies, I would happy to send this off to a good home.  Anyone want it?  Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite cookie is!  I'll pick someone to give it to on April 5th.

Tune in tomorrow for more felt fun when I bring you "Needle Book Madness!"

These have been my favorite cookies since I was a child. Only one grocery store bakery sells them around my town...Around here they are called "Ranger" or "Wrangler" cookies, but they are also know as the World's Best Cookie. They are addictive! I remember sneaking some in while I was in labor and told not to eat...I can't help myself sometimes!! Here is a recipe for them I found online. I also have the recipe in the Better Home and Garden cookbook my mom gave to me when I turned 18 ;)

What a gorgeous needle book! So cute.
I'm a big fan of homemade-from-scratch cookies, but my all-time fave since childhood is hundreds & thousands biscuits: http://www.griffins.co.nz/by-name/cookie-bear-hundreds-and-thousands

Oreos! They are so delicious with a tall glass of ice-cold milk.

Another great idea! My favorite cookie was a persimmon cookie that my dear grandma used to have on hand when ever we visited her. She would always have some in the freezer so that she was never caught unaware! When I make them now they always bring back fond memories of our visits together!

Those ginger lemon cremes you used to be able to get at Trader Joe's. Now you get them sometimes at Big Lots.

Very cute! My faves are most any that have chocolate, or sugar cookies too, just lay off the nuts.

When I visited the States 20 years ago, I lived on Mrs Field's cookies and a jar of apple sauce! I love your cookie!

Have you ever tried Tim Tams?

my fave - and it's quite specific - a chewy cookie that doesn't crumble when you bite into it, with little broken up pieces of dark chocolate (not chips but chunky broken bits) with bitter cherry bits too! Sweet! Preferably with a cup of smooth hot choc to wash it down. Mmmmmm....

I wonder what a felt cookie tastes like? It looks good enough to eat - fabulous work x

My favorite is the pecan butter ball cookies my best friend makes at Xmas- I once asked her for the recipe, but she said if I saw it I'd never eat one again! lol Sooooooo buttery!

homemade sugar cookies with tons of frosting! Im too much of a lazy ass these days to bake anything involving a rolling pin, though.
One time I spent hours making cross cookies with frosting Jesus on them (cant remember why) and then the dog got on the table and ate all of them.

My favourite cookies (biscuits) would have to be anything homemade especially if they have ginger in them. Mmmmmm

My favourites would have to be snickerdoodles. We made them almost constantly during our recent three-month sojourn in Ethiopia. Anything with cinnamon is a winner for me!

My favorite cookies are sugar cookies, simple but fun, I think they have a classic buttery taste that nothing else can compare with.

You Blog is fantastic I found it from flickr. I just started sewing and so far I love it. I am in the process of learning to use (thread) a sewing machine. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I love the toy idea you mention in a later post!! Forgot to mention my favorit cookie!! I LOVE sugar cookies, because you can make them into so many different shapes :).
